Four Classes – Four Ways to End the World
Unlike in many browser games, your class in Velkaris is not carved in stone. It is determined by your main-hand weapon — whoever wields a sword is a melee fighter; whoever draws a bow is a ranged fighter. If you change your weapon, you also change your role. But be warned: whoever changes blades too often loses their class bonuses for 24 hours.
Melee Fighters – the Front
LineMelee fighters scale with Strength. They strike directly, control their pressure through critical hits, and often carry a shield in their second hand. Their class bonus: cheaper healing potions. Whoever stands on the front line should be able to afford their potion.
Ranged Fighters – the Quiet Hunters
Ranged fighters scale with Agility. They replace raw power with precision and evasion, keep their distance, and strike where it hurts. Their class bonus: +5% loot luck. Whoever fights from afar sees the ground more clearly — and with it, the loot.
Mages – the Reach of Destruction
Mages scale with Intelligence. Their magic weapons ignore physical resistances, their critical strikes are devastating, but their vulnerability to direct attacks is equally high. Their class bonus: +20% shards during upgrades. Whoever handles energy knows how to preserve it.
Healers – the Backbone of Every Battle
Healers scale with Spirituality. Their healer weapons keep allies alive while simultaneously dealing weakened damage to enemies. In large battles, it is often the healer who decides victory or defeat. Their class bonus: +30% HP regeneration in the shelter. Whoever heals others regenerates themselves faster.
Class Switching – but with Caution
A class change is possible at any time — simply swap your main-hand weapon. However, the class bonus only activates once you remain loyal to your new role for 24 hours. In this way, versatility is rewarded — but constant hopping is punished.
“ A weapon does not choose you. You choose it. Again. And again. ”
